The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has strongly disagreed with l claim that security had significantly improved and that internally displaced persons (IDPs) had returned home.
Pastor Adeboye made the remark during the church’s November Holy Ghost Service, themed “The Eve of Glory.” Referencing a recent statement issued by the Presidency, raised an alarm that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is receiving inaccurate briefings on Nigeria’s security situation from his advisers.
Pastor Adeboye expressed concern that the content did not reflect the reality experienced by many Nigerians, suggesting that the advisers behind such narratives may be misleading the President.
Adeboye explained his reluctance to make public statements, attributing it to his position under the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
Referencing a biblical principle, noting, he stated “I have discovered in the Bible that a man not under authority cannot cast out a demon.”
