Singer and songs writer, JJC Skillz has accused music producer Don Jazzy and D’banj of betraying him during their early struggles in the United Kingdom. He made the allegation in a recent interview on the Echo Room programme.
JJC Skillz claimed that Don Jazzy, D’banj, and others conspired against him despite his support for them at the time. According to him, he accommodated, fed, clothed, and took them to shows when they were still unknown artists trying to find their footing.
He explained that he had asked the group to help connect him with the Nigerian music industry since they had stronger links back home. Although they agreed to help and introduced him to Bankulli, JJC alleged that they secretly had plans he was unaware of.
JJC said he was shocked when he later heard claims that D’banj accused him of cheating them financially, insisting such accusations made no sense since they had not made money then.
