Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi has etched his name into the record books, becoming the first Nigerian to hit over 30 goals and 30 assists in the English Premier League.

The milestone was achieved during Fulham’s thrilling 3-2 win over Liverpool at Craven Cottage on Sunday. Iwobi was the standout performer, scoring the opener and setting up the winning goal in a masterclass display.
With 34 goals and 30 assists in his Premier League career, the 28-year-old playmaker has now reached a feat unmatched by any Nigerian in EPL history. His performance helped end Liverpool’s unbeaten away run and lifted Fulham to eighth place on the table.
Fellow Nigerian Calvin Bassey also impressed in defence, as the London club continues to push for European qualification. Iwobi’s historic showing cements his role as a key figure in both club and country, and a trailblazer for Nigerian footballers in Europe.
