National Security Adviser (NSA) Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has dismissed claims of planning a 2031 presidential bid, emphasizing his full commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

The denial follows allegations by former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, who accused Ribadu of conspiring with Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and the ICPC to tarnish his reputation. El-Rufai claimed Ribadu was orchestrating a political scheme against him due to his alleged presidential ambitions.
In response, Ribadu firmly rejected the accusations, stating he has never discussed running for president and remains focused on national security. He urged the public to disregard El-Rufai’s claims and called for an end to distractions from his duties.
