Arsenal Posts Record Revenue but Still Faces Financial Loss

Arsenal reported a record revenue of £616.6 million for the 2023/24 season, boosted by their return to the UEFA Champions League. Increased broadcasting revenue (£71 million) and matchday income (£29 million), along with higher commercial earnings (£218.3 million), contributed to this growth.

However, rising wages (£327.8 million) led to a net loss of £17.7 million, an improvement from the previous year’s £52.1 million loss.

Despite financial challenges, Arsenal remains compliant with financial regulations and has secured consecutive Champions League qualifications for both men’s and women’s teams.

On the pitch, they currently sit second in the Premier League, seven points behind Liverpool, and have advanced to the Champions League last 16.
