2023 Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has expressed sorrow over the passing of Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Adewunmi Onanuga, who represented the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency of Ogun State.
In a post on his X handle, Obi described her death as a significant loss to her family, colleagues, and the nation. He praised her contributions to her constituency and legislative service.
Obi extended his condolences to her family, friends, and the National Assembly, praying for her eternal rest.
