Nigerian singer May D revealed in a podcast that he secretly married a Swedish woman and lived in Sweden, where he became a “house husband” while his wife worked.
He explained that despite not working, he earned more from shows than his wife did from her job. However, their marriage ended during the COVID-19 lockdown when May D got stuck in Nigeria, leading to their divorce.
He attributed the split to cultural differences, noting that his wife’s perspective on their situation was different from his own.
