Vice chancellor of university of Abuja, Abdul-Rasheed Na’allah announced that students who wish to study in the institution must undergo drug test before admission.

He said this at the school 27th pre-convocation briefing in Abuja. He added that the test is important and is a way to help students free themselves from drug abuse.

Mr Rasheed however said any students involved in the use of drug will not be sent home, instead be taken to the rehabilitation center.
The vice chancellor went on to say the school management is working with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to help rehabilitate students involved in drug abuse.
