Affirming their solidarity to the government of Rivers State, a delegation of traditional rulers and opinion leaders from Bayelsa State, led by a former governor of the state and now a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, visited governor Sim Fubara in Port Harcourt on sunday.

Governor Sim Fubara said the visit afforded the state government the opportunity of reflecting on the political journeys both states have been embarking on like conjoined twins.
“As it is, what affects one apparently affects the other.

“I appreciated their concern about the political development in our state. I assured them of our commitment to doing the right things at all times to ensure the maintenance of peace and the advancement of development.

“I deeply cherish the noble delegation’s visit and their committed interest in our continued relationship and efforts to make the sister states better,” he ahared on X.
