Super Eagles striker Olayinka set for sensational return to former club.

Super Eagles striker, Peter Olayinka, is reportedly reuniting with his old club Slavia Prague, just one season after he left for Red Star Belgrade in the Czech Republic.

A four-cap Nigerian, Olayinka had a breakout year for Red Star Belgrade, sweeping the Serbian Superliga and Champions League titles and making a strong impression in the Serbian Cup.

The 28-year-old, despite his achievements, is allegedly unhappy in Belgrade and is seeking a return to Prague for family reasons.

Over the course of four seasons at Slavia Prague, Olayinka was an integral part of the team, appearing in 183 games while registering 50 goals and 26 assists. His enduring brilliance won over fans, and the squad would benefit greatly from his return.

The Czech club Slavia Prague is willing to have Olayinka back, and they are currently in the process of negotiating a transfer.

This transfer would be a huge step forward for Olayinka’s career and shows how much of a connection he had with the team from his prior time there.

Since Olayinka would be getting back to a familiar setting where he could keep improving as a player, his return to Slavia Prague would also be a boon to the Nigerian national team.

The return of the Super Eagles striker to Slavia Prague is an intriguing narrative, and supporters of both teams are eagerly anticipating the result.

So, is Olayinka staying in Belgrade or making a spectacular comeback to his previous club? What happens next is anybody’s guess.
