Super Eagles step up training for crunch World Cup qualifiers

The Super Eagles will step up their training for two crunch 2026 World Cup qualifiers in uyo, today

The team trained around their hotel, Le Meridian Hotel, yesterday.

Today’s training will be a full house as most of the call-ups are now in camp.

OGC Nice striker Terem Moffi was one of the last players to report in camp.

Atalanta star Ademola Lookman will feature for his Italian club in today’s rescheduled league game before he teams up with the Super Eagles.

The team’s newly-appointed media officer, Promise Efoge, has yet to join camp and that has explained the scant information about the team’s preparations.

The Super Eagles will take on Bafana Bafana of South Africa Friday night in a vital World Cup showdown.

Kick-off is 8pm.

They will then head out three days later to Cote d’Ivoire for a second qualifier against Benin, who are led by former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr.
