Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, has donated N20 million to two Colleges of Nursing Sciences—Holy Rosary College of Nursing in Ahiara, Imo State, and Our Lady of Lourdes College of Nursing in Ihiala, Anambra State.
During his visit on Friday, Obi presented N10 million to each institution, handing the cheques to Bishop Simeon Nwobi in Ahiara and SUG President Anigbo Chisom Mary in Ihiala.
He emphasized the importance of healthcare and education in national development, praising the Catholic Diocese of Ahiara for investing in the future of Nigeria.
