Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is reportedly willing to sell David Alaba if Los Blancos receive an offer of around €40 million next year for the defender.
According to El Nacional, Real Madrid are not happy with Alaba’s lumpy performances this season and Perez in particular is apparently very displeased with the Austrian international and wants to sell him.
Alaba joined Real Madrid from Bayern Munich on a free transfer in 2021.
Arguably one of his worst performances with Real Madrid came in the 3-1 La Liga derby defeat against Atletico Madrid last month.
Alaba, a utility player, has played 94 matches across competitions since moving to Real Madrid.
His contract with Real Madrid will expire in the summer of 2025.
However, it remains to be seen if any team comes forward with a favorable offer to sign the 31-year-old.
