After the completion of Digital Registration Management process was confirmed, organisers of the nineth edition of the National Youth Games revealed that the event scheduled to hold from August 29 to September 6 2025 is expected to host 6,382 athletes and officials from across Nigeria.
Highlighting the national scope and inclusivity of the competition, the organisers stated that this year’s edition will feature 37 sporting events, offering a platform for young athletes to display their skills, teamwork, and determination. Emphasized that athletes and officials will represent all 36 states of the federation.
According to the organisers, the Games are more than just a competition; they are a celebration of talent, resilience, and national unity. With nine days of action ahead, the event is expected to not only entertain but also produce Nigeria’s next generation of sports stars.
The Games, organised by the National Sports Commission, are designed to promote grassroots sports and discover future champions.
