A Babcock University student, Oladipupo Siwajuola, who was declared missing by his mother, Fijabi Oyindamola Omotayo, has been found. Omotayo had earlier taken to Facebook in a live video, crying and pleading with the public and security agencies to help locate her son. She said she personally dropped him off at the university on Sunday, April 27, 2025, and had not heard from him since, prompting widespread concern and a public outcry.

On Saturday, Omotayo shared the good news on Facebook, stating, “My son has been found.” This was confirmed by Dr Joshua Suleiman, Director of Marketing and Communications at Babcock University, who acknowledged the report via WhatsApp. While the exact circumstances surrounding the student’s disappearance and recovery remain unclear, the confirmation has brought relief to the family and university community.
