The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Nentawe Yilwatda, has commiserated with the government and people of Niger State over the recent tanker explosion in the state.

About 80 persons died on Saturday at Dikko Junction, Suleja Local Government Area of the state, while scooping fuel from a fallen petrol tanker.
The Minister described the tragic incident, which claimed dozens of lives and many injured, as pathetic and unfortunate.He prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed and quick recovery for the injured.
He cautioned motorists against reckless driving and encouraged adherence to road safety measures and regular maintenance of vehicles.
