We were both ready to close this chapter and move forward with real life.” The 44-year-old reality star also clarified that infidelity wasn’t the cause of their divorce.
“There were some old habits, some desires he wanted to accomplish outside of family. And I think that he possibly chose those things over me. That part took over in the end. I don’t know that person,” she revealed. “There were big factors that really, really hurt in the divorce. I loved him so much because I trusted him, and I felt safe with him, and that’s what I lost. I couldn’t trust him.”
Simon lamented about getting engaged so early to Porsha, “Getting engaged in 30 days … who does that? I was out of my goddamn mind to have done that. Of course, I’m paying dearly for it.” The judge overseeing his divorce from Williams finalized the dissolution of their marriage.
The couple’s prenuptial agreement was enfirced, awarding Porsha $40,000 per month in alimony for the next 14 to 15 months. Simon is also required to cover her legal fees and hand over the Rolls-Royce he gifted her. Regarding the couple’s $7 million home, which was initially Simon’s premarital property, Porsha has until 2027 to decide whether she wants to remain in the house or sell it.
