The Niger state imams call for immediate sack of Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy Ohanenye for petitioning the Inspector General of Police and filing a lawsuit after speaker of Niger state house of assembly, Abdulmalik Sarkindaji sponsored wedding of 100 orphan girls
The imams who accused the minister of threatening the speaker, also asked her to tender an apology within seven days or face a lawsuit.
According to the Islamic clerics, the minister is unfit to serve in her capacity as they accused her of blackmail for saying they are trying to force underage girls into marriage.
