HILDA BACI HAS BEEN DETHRONED BY IRISH CHEF

Nigerian cooking record holder Hilda Baci has been dethroned by Alan Fisher from Ireland. He cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan.

Fisher has broken two cooking-related Guinness World Records (GWR) titles.

Recalls that Guinness World Records announced Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci as the record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual after she cooked for 93 hours.

However, on Tuesday, Guinness World Records announced that Fisher had claimed the longest cooking marathon by an individual after he clocked in a time of 119 hours 57 minutes. That is more than 24 hours longer than Hilda Baci.

It was however recorded that towards the end of the longest cooking marathon (individual) record attempt, Alan had to endure fatigue and sleepiness. “I peeled roughly 300 kg of potatoes during the cooking marathon. For the first few days, I would look forward to this each evening as it gave me a chance to sit down”, GWR wrote on their official site.

According to GWR, Alan Fisher broke two cooking-related Guinness World Records titles; the longest cooking marathon (individual) and the longest baking marathon (individual).
