As part of the activities to welcome and honour His Royal Majesty, Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II of Benin, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State took him on a tour of the J Randle Center for Arts and Culture showcasing the rich Yoruba heritage.

According to Governor Sanwo-Olu he, the cultural centre has an outdoor theatre, public square, space for learning programmes, art installations, live music events, a permanent exhibition, library, training and conference rooms, and a concession block for refreshment lounges, bleacher stand, lawn area and a world-class swimming pool.

Governor Sanwo-Olu said the commendation of the Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II of Benin is a testament to Lagos State commitment to preserving and celebrating Nigeria’s diverse cultural legacies.
