Drive4s on Maluri Road will no long describe the 14 hours journey to Fika as a terrible road conditions recently completed by the admisitrati9n ofGovernor Mai Buni.
Accordung to reports by Northeast reporter, Maluri is only 25 kilometres from Fika, but the journey used to take as long as 14 hours due to the deplorable state of the road.
During the rainy season, the numerous gullies, muddy terrain, and difficult landscape often made the route nearly impassable, with some travelers spending up to a day before reaching the town.
Today, the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni has constructed a road & several bridges along the route up to 25-kilometre, the journey that previously took up to 14 hours is reduced to just 25 minutes, significantly improving transportation, boosting trade and economic activities, and enhancing the quality of life for the people of Maluri and surrounding communities.
