Governor Aiyedatiwa Attributes Leadership to Divine Providence, Pledges Good Governance

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State credited his emergence as governor to divine providence rather than human effort during a Thanksgiving Service at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Akure. Quoting Psalm 124:1, he expressed gratitude for God’s guidance and the support of the people of Ondo State.

As he prepares to officially assume office, Aiyedatiwa reaffirmed his commitment to the Seven-Point Developmental Agenda (OUR EASE), which focuses on education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, commerce, and industry. He pledged to govern with integrity, transparency, and accountability, ensuring Ondo State remains peaceful and prosperous.

The governor emphasized the need for unity and reconciliation, calling on citizens to work together for a better future. He also recognized the church’s role in societal development and promised to strengthen partnerships in education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.

Pastor Elijah Olujimi Olubade, who delivered the sermon, highlighted that leadership is a divine assignment, urging leaders to govern with humility and gratitude.
