FG approves the relocation of Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria from Abuja to Lagos.

The Federal Government has approved the relocation of the Federal Airport Authority (FAAN) from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja to the nation’s commercial city, Lagos.

In a memo signed by FAAN Managing Director, Olubunmi Kuku, dated Monday 15th January, 2024 revealed that the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo has directed the relocation to Lagos.

This was revealed in a memo reads:
”The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development has directed that the Headquarters of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) should be relocated from Abuja to Lagos.

”Consequent upon the above, you are requested to provide the implication of the relocation to the management.”
The memo was dated 15th of January, 2024.
