Federal Government Gives 18 Trained Chibok Girls ₦1 Million Each, Starter Packs To Build Sustainable Livelihoods

Following the successful completion of their vocational training programme,  the Federal Government has presented starter packs and ₦1 million each to 18 Chibok girls. The initiative is aimed at helping the beneficiaries become self-reliant and build sustainable livelihoods.

The support package is intended to provide the graduates with the tools and financial resources needed to establish businesses in their chosen vocational fields. Officials said the programme reflects the government’s commitment to empowering survivors through skills acquisition and economic inclusion.

The beneficiaries were encouraged to make good use of the opportunity by investing wisely in their trades and contributing positively to their communities. The government also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the rehabilitation, empowerment and reintegration of victims affected by insurgency.
