The federal government has announced 50% discount on road transport fares and free train ride on Lagos- Ibadan, Abuja-Kaduna and Warri-Itakpe rail on inter-state travels during the Christmas and New year holidays.
The intervention programmes aimed at reducing the effect of rising transportation fare to inter-state travels.
President Bola Tinubu approval was announced by the cahairman of the Inter-ministerial Committee on presidential intervention and Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Mr. Dele Alake while riefing newsmen at the State House, Abuja.
The discount runs from 21st December, 2023 to January 4th, 2024.
