The Edo State Government has rescued a four-year-old girl who was allegedly exploited for adult content by her father.
This was announced by the state Commissioner for Health, Samuel Allli.
The commissioner confirmed that the child is now under the state’s care and will receive comprehensive medical examination and attention.
Sharing photos, he wrote, “The child is now in our custody for proper medical examination and care.
“We will keep you updated on her welfare.Thank you all for your contributions to ensure our kids are safe and sound both in health and mind .”
This development follows the Nigeria Police Force’s condemnation of the exploitation and arrest of the child’s father in connection with the incident.
