Afrobeats superstar, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr, has addressed claims that she cannot start a family or have a boyfriend for the next five years. The singer recently signed a five-year management deal with Roc Nation, which is owned by American music executive Sean Carter, aka Jay-Z.
Following the announcement, there have been rumours in some sections of the media that a clause in her recent five-year contract with Roc Nation barred her from having a boyfriend or starting a family.
“Ayra Starr isn’t allowed to have a boyfriend or start a family during her five-year contract with Roc Nation,” a podcaster claimed in a video making the rounds on X.
Reacting to the video, Ayra Starr wrote, “Does Ayra Starr know about this?”
The singer also reposted a tweet which reads, “Them lie on top your head for broad daylight,” confirming that the report was fake.
