According to reports, following the loan signing of Raheem Sterling from Chelsea in the early hours after the transfer deadline, Reiss Nelson’s chances of securing playing time at Arsenal were expected to diminish.

Consequently, Nelson has agreed to a loan move to Fulham for the season. Although Ipswich Town was reportedly close to finalizing a deal, it did not materialize.
Fulham stepped in after their attempt to sign Lyon’s Ernest Nuamah fell through.
A deal sheet was submitted, allowing the clubs to finalize the agreement within the two-hour extension. Fulham owner Tony Khan commented, “I’m very happy to welcome Reiss Nelson to Fulham Football Club! Reiss is a talented young player, and we’re excited that he’s joined the squad on loan! His arrival concludes a busy transfer window for the Club, and we’re all looking forward to a great season ahead! Come on Fulham!”
In other transfer news, Chelsea have reportedly managed to loan Trevoh Chalobah to Crystal Palace.
Although the deal has not yet been officially confirmed, Fabrizio Romano stated, “Trevoh Chalobah to Crystal Palace, done and completed in time,” a claim also supported by Jacob Steinberg of The Guardian.
Chalobah had been informed earlier in the summer that he was not part of Enzo Maresca’s plans for the season and was excluded from the pre-season trip to the USA.
He now joins Palace for the season, alongside new deadline day signings Eddie Nketiah, Matt Turner, and Maxence Lacroix.
