President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio said president Bola Tinubu remains fully in charge of the government despite being outside the country, dismissed concernsp over President’s continued absence from Nigeria, insisting that the country is not facing a leadership vacuum.
Akpabio maintained that the President continues to perform his constitutional responsibilities and remains in communication with officials.
The Senate President’s comments come amid public discussions over Tinubu’s absence and concerns about the implications for governance. Akpabio urged Nigerians not to interpret the President’s absence from the country as an indication that the government is without leadership.
