The N-Power National Programme Manager, Akindele Egbuwalo has disclosed that the Federal Government is ready to commence the payment of nine months backlogs to N-Power beneficiaries who are on the programme beginning from November.
“Plans have been put in place by the programme to commence disbursement of the nine months outstanding stipends to beneficiaries from November 2023. Payments will be carried out in installment,”
Egbuwalo also mentioned that the scheme would be extended to cover five million beneficiaries in five years such that each year is allocated one million youths under the graduate and non-graduate stream. One of the beneficiaries, Sani Garba, from Yobe State, was present at the meeting and said the concerns of beneficiaries were mainly the delayed payment of the nine months stipends.
