The draw for AFCON 2023 was taken in Cote D’Ivoire on Thursday to know the teams who are scheduled against one another in the group stage of the competition scheduled for January 13 to February 11.
Nigeria face host Ivory Coast, with Equatorial Guinea and Guinea Bissua.
The Competition is expected to see teams who finish top and second of the group to qualify and four from the third best finishes.
The competition in Ivory Coast will be an exceptional one as stars from the African continent who ply their trade both at home and abroad face one another for the most coveted prize in African football.

All group winners and runners-up and the four highest-ranked third-placed teams qualify for the knockout stage.
