Humanitarian Minister inspects Shelter Prototype Houses for Poor Nigerians

in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to providing dignified shelters for the poor, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and refugees in the country, yhe minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu yesterday inspected the shelter prototype of two sample houses, a one bedroom and two bedrooms at Idu village, which is she said is a special project.

According to the Minister, the two samples houses “were built by the local people in that community for themselves, using local materials and very cost effective,this will be applicable across Nigeria.”

Edu added that the project is one of the ways of the federal government addressing multi-dimensional poverty in the country.
