Three farmers have been allegedly killed during a fresh attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Igboho, Orelope Local Government Area of Oyo State, heightened fear and tension in the Oke-Ogun axis, where residents have repeatedly complained about growing insecurity in rural communities.

Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo Igboho) made the allegations revealed the victims were attacked after confronting herders over the destruction of their farmlands by grazing cattle.
The farmers were rushed to a hospital after the incident but later died from their injuries despite medical efforts.
In a statement, Igboho called on President Bola Tinubu and security agencies to urgently address the worsening security situation in Oyo State and across the South West. He warned that continued inaction could push frustrated residents into defending themselves, potentially leading to wider conflict and chaos.
He further urged the Federal Government to arrest and prosecute those responsible for attacks on farmers and local residents. According to him, security agencies must rely on actionable intelligence to prevent further violence and protect lives and property in vulnerable rural areas.
