The statement teleased by the Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, through its spokesperson, DSP Okoye Henry confirmed that a full investigation have been luanched and reaffirmed their commitment to professionalism and ethical policing in line with the constitutional duties of thebpilice.
The command described the conduct as an “unacceptable display of unprofessionalism” and assured the public that disciplinary measures would follow upon conclusion of the inquiry. .
The video posted by anti-cultism advocacy group Naija Confra condemned the alleged officers, describing them as members of the Vikings, provoked widespread public reactions from Nigerians, accused the officers of disgracing the Nigeria Police and promoting cult activities.
The group expressed concern that cult infiltration within security agencies undermines public trust and officers involved in such acts cannot tcombat cult-related crimes and endangers citizens.
