What should have been a truly joyous and memorable vacation for Christe Chen Dawson, an award-winning pharmaceutical scientist was turned into a nightmare for the deceased who was beaten to death by her 41 year old husband, Bradley Robert Dawson during a drunken argument while on their honeymoon vacation at an exclusive Island resort in Fiji Island, barely 5 months into their marriage.
According to reports, “When a hotel manager sent a cleaner into the room, despite the Do Not Disturb sign, a grisly scene unfolded. Blood spatter coated the bathroom, and Chen’s lifeless body, bloodied n with shattered glass, was slumped against the shattered toilet.”
Bradley Robert Dawson, could spend the rest of his life in prison after being found guilty of the July 2022 murder of his 36 year old wife Christe Chen.
The convicted murderer faced a mandatory minimum sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole.
“No mother should have to know this is how her daughter’s life ended, and by the hands of the very person who took a vow to love, honor and cherish her,” Xiao Wei Liu, Chen’s grieving mother, expressed in a victim impact statement to Fox News. “I can only hope that the rest of your life is filled with misery, loneliness and despair.”
