Senator Kingibe Decried Disparity In The Education System of The Capital City
The Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ireti Kingibe, has called on relevant authorities to put more effort into reviving the nation’s education.

In a statement on the international Day of Education, the Labour Party Senator stated that the theme ‘AI and Education: Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation’ served as a clarion call for all to prioritize education.
“As we join the global community to commemorate the International Day of Education, we are reminded of the profound truth that education is the foundation upon which nations rise, societies thrive, and individuals achieve their fullest potential. Education is not just a pathway to personal growth but a cornerstone of national development, innovation, and equity.
The FCT Senator, however, decried disparity in the education system of the Capital City. She highlighted unqualified teachers, and poor infrastructures as challenges affecting education in her constituency. I stand deeply committed to investing in and repositioning our educational institutions to meet the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
