Police Launched Search After Citibank VP Marianne Kilonzi Found Dead in London Flat

The police have launched a manhunt after Citibank executive Marianne Kilonzi was found beaten to death in her flat in Woolwich, London.

Metropolitan Police discovered Kilonzi, 43, lifeless at her residential address on Argyll Road, south-east London, at about 5:25 p.m. last Friday, following concerns raised about the welfare of the occupant.
A postmortem examination suggests the cause of death was blunt force trauma and a head injury.

Kilonzi was the vice-president of trade and working capital sales within the treasury and trade solutions division at Citibank in London. She had been promoted from the Kenya office and had worked with the firm for 18 years, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Lead investigator DCI Suzanne Soren, from Specialist Crime South, said:
“This is a tragic crime, and our thoughts at this incredibly difficult time are with Marianne’s loved ones and colleagues.
“We are in contact with her family, who are being supported by specialist colleagues. We believe the suspect was known to Marianne and that there is no wider risk to the public.
