Music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia has been appointed Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach by Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia. The announcement was made during a courtesy visit by the award-winning singer to the governor’s office.
Governor Alia commended 2Baba’s longstanding support and influence, noting that his new role would help strengthen grassroots engagement and foster growth in the creative sector. “Given your experience and influence, we believe you can help us impact more lives positively,” the governor said.
2Baba, who hails from Okpokwu LGA in Benue South, is expected to leverage his reputation and industry expertise to drive entertainment initiatives and enhance community outreach efforts across the state.
