A public commentator and analyst in Nigeria, Comrade IG Wala, has said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not reappoint Muslim Northerner as his running mate in the coming 2027 electio
According to him, the United States has already come out clearly to state its position. He said with the situation at hand, Tinubu has no option than to drop Muslim Northerner and pick a Christian.
“If Tinubu reappoints a Northerner who is a Muslim as Vice President in 2027, it would amount to openly defying America’s interest in protecting Christians in Nigeria.”
