Through strategic constituency engagement for an impactful inter-community collaboration
with his constituents, Honourable Jaafaru Yakubu, member representing Bali/Gassol federal Constituency of Taraba State underscored the significance of constituency feedback to foster inclusiveness and responsive represrntation, was recently welcomed by constituents in Bali town to commission empowering projects.
Speaking at the occasion, Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba state who was represented by the state chairman of the PDP, Abubakar Bawa expressed delight in the giant efforts of Hon. Jaafaru Yakubu since being elected as a member of the National Assembly. Stressing that, “This is not the first empowering initiative he implemented. Governor Kefas called on other lawmakers to emulate the lawmakers role in constituency representation in the National Assembly.
Governor Kefas encouraged beneficiaries to make good use of rhe items donated to build livelihood, foster unity and enhance security in their communities.
Earlier in his remarks during the roads commissioning and donation of items, Hon. Jaafaru Yakubu said he is always ready to uplift his constituents as part of his constituency projects to encourage a cordial working relationship among villagers in fostering community cooperation in his constituency.
While thanking Governor Agbu Kefas for supporting development and income-generating projects at the local level, he urged constituents to take ownership of the equipment and appropriately taking care of. “Its no longer a government a government property, take ownership of it. It is yours”, he said.
He emphasized the importance of implementing projects at the village level to accommodate everyone that promote inclusivity and community development.
Representatives of relevant agencies and groups pledged their support to the people of Bali/Gassol that they will ensure the items are judiciously utilised for the benefits of all especially in primary and secondary healthcare centres.
